Butterfly Studios

Excellent basic accomodation with clean rooms and pool area and very friendly and helpful staff. The Butterfly studios are situated about 5 minutes walk to the beach at the harbour end of the bay and are close to several supermarkets and tavernas.The rooms are clean and well equipped with the basic self catering items, extra cutlery and towels were provided when requested and a broken sink was repaired by a plumber within hours of being reported - you wouldn't get that sort of service anywhere in the UK! Faliraki is a 15 minute walk away and despite some reservations when booking it turned out to be a very pleasant resort catering for all ages and not a can of Stella or an England shirt in sight! Yes the place is a bit dated and needs some work done to make it better but we had a great time there. The family is great and will go out of their way to help you with extra's if you ask them nicely. Bath mats extra plates etc etc. will be given when asked. Location is great as nice quite area with lots of local supermarkets and restaurants just around the corner. Cooking can be done but only in basic form. We had two rooms next to each other so was a bit easier to cook with two electric hobs. Ask for a room with pool view. Yes the sun will wake you in the morning but great view and cooler in the afternoon. Things to pack with you when you go. Big tea mugs, elastic bands so that you can hook the shower onto the hook as otherwise you will have to hold it in you hand. Best…

lovely apartment, admittedly when i arrived i was not impressed! it only has two little oven rings and the shower is a shower head and just a space on the floor and single beds..BUT the oven rings proved brilliant, we ate in most nights - the mini supermarket 2 minutes away had pasta, noodles and all nice bits to eat. the shower was lovely and warm! and my boyfriend and i just pushed the beds together - just as comfy! they have a small cafe by the pool which is cheap but nice, my only fault was that one of the women that worked there didn't speak great English so didn't understand that i was vegetarian! so spent many days just eating cheese toasties! had a brilliant holiday though and wish we could go back now !

What a lovely place to stay, this is a family run place. The minute u walk in the door ur greeted wiv a warmth and compassion that is so appreciated when ur away from home. Admittedly it's basic but if u get past the limited features its a lovely relaxing place to stay. Nothing is to much trouble here and I can see why the guests come bk year after year There's no mad rush for sunbeds, the pool is beautiful. Only downside for me us the beds are a bit hard, but for the money I paid I'm not gonna complain Will defo return

This hotel is spot on all the staff cannot help you enough we hAd a great time mike and mary were brill mary kept making us snacks so never went hungry had pool to our selves because italians never used pool brilliant hotel
